Orme Table In process of Refurbishment
History
Orme & Sons were renowned for being one of the finest snooker table manufacturers in the world. They traded business through outlets in Liverpool, Manchester, London & Glasgow. Orme & Sons began trading in 1845 and received a Royal Warrant from Edward, Prince of Wales. Orme & Sons attained recognition in 1865 as one of the most renowned Billiard Table Makers in the world.
Opportunity To Own A Classic Piece Of British History!
The Table
This Full Size Snooker Table is a splendid example of fine workmanship notorious with Orme and Sons Tables. Highly carved in Mahogany with Walnut interiors. This table is of solid construction. The slates are the finest quality Welsh Slate with rounded pockets and in excellent condition.
The Snooker Table dates Circa 1905 and will be fully renovated prior to sale and will be complete with all new accessories.
This is no doubt a world class Snooker Table with workmanship and style that will never be repeated. The legs are of solid Mahogany with carved plates and of Victorian Style.
The Marking Board
The Marking Board supplied is a genuine Orme & Sons Marking Board. As with the Snooker Table, this Marking Board was built by Orme and Sons and is of the highest quality- built around Circa 1905. The marking board is an antique and sold alone should fetch around £1500. The Marking Board will be fully renovated prior to sale.

Completion
Full renovation of the Snooker Table is in progress with completion expected early September 2010.
